Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Integration Architect to join our team on a 6 to 9-month contractor assignment. As a Cloud Integration Architect, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the integration of existing, vended, and research software systems and new services onto a public cloud IAAS. Your expertise in cloud technologies, software architecture, and integration methodologies will be crucial in ensuring seamless and efficient integration of our systems and the development of performance evidence as specified by sub-contractor obligations of an R&D contract with the National Cancer Institute.
Responsabilities:

Collaborate with program stakeholders, including the Principal Investigators, primary contractor, software technology vendor partner, and project managers to deliver a functional system sufficient to demonstrate core functionality specified by the R&D contract.

Architect, design, and document cloud-based integration solutions using best practices and industry standards.

Active participation in solution development, downstream go-to-market formulation, and validation activities.

Develop integration strategies and roadmaps to guide the implementation and deployment of the cloud system for short-term and eventual productization of the service.

Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms and services based on the organization's requirements, including scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.

As needed, design and implement secure and efficient data transfer mechanisms between on-premises systems and the cloud.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and system outages in collaboration with the operations team.
